Taunton is a town with a population of around 58,000. Taunton is situated in the south-west of England, within an hour of Torbay and three world heritage sites as well as being just three and a half hours from London.

 

It has a busy town centre with lots of different kinds of shops selling everything from trendy jeans to old books, with a number of cafés, sandwich shops and restaurants.

 

The many shops, both large and small, offer a wide variety of goods and souvenirs, while the market stalls sell lots of different things from clothes to collectibles.

Glastonbury is a very small town, with a population of around 9000 residents. Yet its reputation and history are quite significant. Today it is a centre for religious tourism and pilgrimage where people from all over the world visit in an attempt to absorb its past. Glastonbury has a wonderful city centre with a good array of shops scattered throughout that seem to blend in well and attempt to preserve its traditional feel and look. The locals are friendly, as there are lots of people coming to visit their town throughout the year.

 

Exeter (population of 100,000, about 35 miles from Kelly College). An attractive town on the river Exe, famous for its cathedral, University and ancient buildings. There are excellent shopping opportunities in Exeter.
